Summary:
As a Transportation Staff Engineer at Kapur & Associates, you will be an integral part of our team, contributing to the planning, design, and implementation of transportation infrastructure projects. This role provides a unique opportunity to work on diverse and challenging projects that positively impact communities.
Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with senior engineers and project managers in the planning and design of transportation projects.
- Conduct site visits and field investigations to gather relevant data for project analysis.
- Assist in the preparation of engineering plans, reports, and specifications.
- Utilize engineering software and tools to perform calculations and simulations.
- Work closely with multi-disciplinary teams to ensure project objectives are met within established timelines.
- Stay up to date with industry trends, regulations, and best practices in transportation engineering.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related field.
- Strong academic background with a focus on transportation engineering coursework.
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Proficient in engineering software such as AutoCAD, MicroStation, and/or other relevant tools.
- Knowledge of WisDOT projects is a plus.
- Effective communication and teamwork skills.
- Eagerness to learn and adapt to new challenges.
